At ILBOC we are dedicated to the production of latest generation group II and III (according to the American Institute of Petroleum’s classification) lube base oils (LBO) from UCO (Unconverted Oil). These bases are used in the formulation of oils with very diverse applications. The main application is automotive lubricants in which lube base oils constitute 80-90% of the formulation. The high quality of the bases produced by ILBOC allows for the production of lubricating oils with significant advantages, such as:

• They reduce fuel consumption in engines and therefore also reduce their emissions.
• They have a longer life, with a consequential saving for the consumer, and produce less waste with an undoubted positive effect on the environment.

In addition, they are used in other applications such as cosmetics, transformers, automatic gearboxes and inks, amongst others.
